AXA Investment Managers appoints Christophe Herpet as Global Head of AXA Fixed Income and Buy & Maintain

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) announces the appointment of Christophe Herpet as Global Head of AXA Fixed Income and Buy & Maintain, effective immediately. Based in Paris, he will oversee AXA’s Fixed Income portfolios and the Buy & Maintain strategy overall. 

Christophe will report to Hans Stoter, Global Head of Core Investments.

    About Christophe Herpet

    Prior to joining AXA IM, Christophe started his career in 1994 at BNP, he then joined Bayerische Landesbank working in the interest rate and credit trading team. He then moved to Credit Agricole Indosuez, where he served as Head of Credit Proprietary Trading.

    Christophe Herpet joined AXA IM in 2004 as Senior Portfolio Manager in the Hedge Fund and Structured Finance team and was responsible for the credit and equity arbitrage strategies as well as credit correlation trading. In 2010, he joined the Fixed Income teams and was responsible for managing FI mandates and mutual funds, sharing market ideas, and investment strategies with AXA Group. 

    Christophe holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Reims University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Paris School of Management.
