Tom Atkinson

Tom is a portfolio manager of the AXA ACT Biodiversity, AXA ACT Clean Economy and AXA ACT People & Planet strategies.
Tom is also coordinator of the Biodiversity research pod. He has 8 years investment experience and joined Axa in June 2022 from Newton Investment Management where he was a global research analyst focusing on utilities, clean energy, and industrials.
Tom recommended stocks for an array of large cap, small cap, developed, emerging and income strategies. While at Newton Tom chaired the “Earth Matters” theme group, leading strategic thinking on environmental topics.
Tom holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from Durham University and an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Tom is also a CFA Charterholder.
